Causes
The Izzy Initiative is a non-profit organization that was created to honor the memory of Isabella Ofsanko. Our mission is to raise funds for causes that were important to Izzy.

Forte Animal Rescue
Forte Animal Rescue (FAR), founded in 2002, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is to inspire compassion and responsibility for animals, in addition to rescuing, rehabilitating and finding homes for companion animals.
FAR is one of few rescue organizations that offer a Junior Volunteer Program. We believe it’s imperative to invest in today’s youth and create well-rounded young adults that will serve their communities in the future.
FAR holds its adoption event every 1st & 3rd Saturday of the Month (except on holidays) from 12:30-3:30 pm, at Centinela Feed & Pet Supplies, 3860 S. Centinela Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90066.
Forte Animal Rescue is an all-breed rescue group. We rescue any breed or mix from poodles to pit bulls because our volunteers believe all animals deserve a chance at life.
FAR volunteers are an invaluable resource. To learn more about how to become one, go to www.farescue.org/volunteer.

Bullies and Buddies
Dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing bullies and other buddy breeds in Southern California. Through love, training and patience we have come to know and love each and every dog we’ve rescued as if they were ours. They’re all little angels and we want them to succeed. For this reason, we pledge to never take on more dogs than we can properly care for.
We are a foster based rescue and we rely solely on volunteers and donors to keep our doors open. We encourage you to join us on our mission and help make a difference to a dog in need.

Local Homeless Students
Isabella appreciated what she had and was empathetic to those who were less fortunate. There are many local students who are homeless, under the radar and need assistance. We will donate to these students through the local schools to help them with basic needs and school costs.

1736 Family Crisis Center
1736 Family Crisis Center has been responding to the growing needs of domestic violence, human trafficking and youth victims, homeless families, homeless and at-risk Veterans, unemployed adults and youth, and other low-income community members in need of assistance. They are always accessible and ready to help kids, families, and Veterans so that they can permanently escape the worst possible conditions of poverty, homelessness and violence.

PLNU "The Way" Scholarship
Every summer, Point Loma offers incoming students a week-long wilderness backpacking, hiking and camping excursion to the Sequoia National Park. This trip allows the students to connect with nature and build relationships with other PLNU students. It is a great introduction to backpacking in one of California’s beloved national forests. Izzy participated in this trip and was very moved by her experience. Each year we sponsor a student through a scholarship in Izzy’s name which funds all costs for the trip.
